? You should check the new FAQ and Policy, it's been updated. Also, there are
quite a few red-dotted threads in the "minitokyo" section of the forum
that you'd like to read.
Now about the UMP : we've moved on a bit with the story (not that much), we've
added some stuff in the yahoo mailbox (like detailed character description
etc...), and we've created new races and characters. So basically the setting
and characters is slowly taking place
Maybe you'd want to read the previous posts in the UMP page (though they might
be a bit confusing). Otherwise i'll make a little summary for next week, so you
can understand everything !

Since you are a member of the doujinshi-support-club, I would like to inform you
about the new changes going around there. We have been discussing this in the GB
of the group but we also want to know your opinion! So here it is:
1st .- The Monthly Doujinshi Display -->
We are now putting up the Monthly Doujinshi Display Corner for those who wish to
see their artworks displayed and those who wants their doujins to improve. The
idea is this:
[1]To submit your doujins along with your link via PM to any of those in charge
to display the doujins. (Right now:ephemeral-garden and pegassuss)
[2]Volunteers are needed to in charge of the displays. Volunteers should be used
to toggling HTMLs, so those who're interested in helping out, please PM ephemeral-garden and pegassuss.
2nd .- 'The artist of the Month' -->
After 1 month, if there is enough doujinshis that have been displayed, we'll
have our Doujinshi Artist of the Month. Every member of the group will then vote
for one artist to be 'the artist of the month' by posting them in the guestbook
of the doujinshi group, or if you prefer you can PM your decision to pegassuss (if you wish to help count
votes just say it!). Judges are not restricted to anyone in this group, anyone
can vote for their favourite artist of the month by posting them in the
guestbook. If you're still confused on what I'm trying to say, ask ephemeral-garden or pegassuss straight in the
face!.
Please read the following statement before:
- There will be no judges, everyone will be able to give their opinion and vote
by posting in the GB of the group the name of the artist who, in their opinion,
is the best one, or the one who has made the most substantial improvements.
Several persons will be then, in charge of counting the votes. (collaborators
needed!)
- There will be a month to vote, so everybody will have time to think and see
the piece of work with no hurry. Don't wait until the end! ^_~
- Once one artist has been elected 'artist of the month' it will not be possible
to choose him/her again, at least, not until an agreed period of time, because
if not, we run the risk of seeing the same artist every month, and that is not
the purpose of this idea.
These are the basic ideas, if you want to collaborate, to give your opinion or
anything, please feel free to post in the GB! We hope to see you around there
being active!

me...it was $78! and they hardly let me touch it, hehehe. good thing my friend

Hey, no credits and titles needed! Anyone could have noticed that doujinshi
(and, for that matter, any kind of indy art) is going to be underappreaciated,
so it was just a matter of time 'til someone stumbles upon the idea and say
"Hey, we gotta promote doujinshi more around here!"... thanks for the
nice post, though. But really, the doujinshi artists should get all the credit!
Oh, and I'm sorry if the idea I proposed to shinsengumi (if people are
interested in translating the MT Noob Bibles into various languages and then
convert them into comic strip/manga form) is already too much of a burden to the
DSC and the UniversalMangaProyekt. I had the idea months ago... but after seeing
your enthusiasm on the MT Multi-Authors Manga Project, I didn't propose the MT
Noob Bible Conversion project right away, so that it wouldn't take the wind out
of your sails too much...
Anyway, shinsengumi volunteered to spearhead the MT Noob Bible to Manga/Comic
Form thing in the Chaos-Cross group and would probably ask people in the DSC or
the UniversalMangaProyekt if they'd be willing to make parttime work for it. As
for me, I don't really think I could spend much time in MT after I resolve all
the pending commitments I made to the winners, the participant-doujinshi-artists
and the people who supported the project.... I really think I need a break,
lol... but hey, here's me wishing the best for the UniversalMangaProyekt...
(and of course, you and the others gotta promise me to still take care of the
DSC when I'll be going on my sweet break, kk?)
Actually, a lot of issues are still pending on the DSC, like the
banner-rotation-thing (many artists made lots of banners on Support Doujinshi,
too! Maybe now's a good idea to figure out how to rotate the sked?) and of
course the contest proposal by Terra-chan and other stuff still pending...

Hey, no credits and titles needed! Anyone could have noticed that doujinshi (and, for that matter, any kind of indy art) is going to be underappreaciated, so it was just a matter of time 'til someone stumbles upon the idea and say "Hey, we gotta promote doujinshi more around here!"... thanks for the nice post, though. But really, the doujinshi artists should get all the credit!
Oh, and I'm sorry if the idea I proposed to shinsengumi (if people are interested in translating the MT Noob Bibles into various languages and then convert them into comic strip/manga form) is already too much of a burden to the DSC and the UniversalMangaProyekt. I had the idea months ago... but after seeing your enthusiasm on the MT Multi-Authors Manga Project, I didn't propose the MT Noob Bible Conversion project right away, so that it wouldn't take the wind out of your sails too much...
Anyway, shinsengumi volunteered to spearhead the MT Noob Bible to Manga/Comic Form thing in the Chaos-Cross group and would probably ask people in the DSC or the UniversalMangaProyekt if they'd be willing to make parttime work for it. As for me, I don't really think I could spend much time in MT after I resolve all the pending commitments I made to the winners, the participant-doujinshi-artists and the people who supported the project.... I really think I need a break, lol... but hey, here's me wishing the best for the UniversalMangaProyekt... (and of course, you and the others gotta promise me to still take care of the DSC when I'll be going on my sweet break, kk?)
Actually, a lot of issues are still pending on the DSC, like the banner-rotation-thing (many artists made lots of banners on Support Doujinshi, too! Maybe now's a good idea to figure out how to rotate the sked?) and of course the contest proposal by Terra-chan and other stuff still pending... anyway, just wishing ya the best and thanks again for the sweeties! Support what? You know what! ^^
Hiya norimune ^_^. Just had a small question by billboard designer is that like storyboard? or banners for the group? not exaclty sure just need to clear that up.
